Business Card Prospecting

One of the most inexpensive methods of advertising your business is the use of business cards.  I cannot understand why some business people fail to carry their cards with them.  A business card can turn an unexpected social contact into a potential business discussion.

I was in the Steam Room at my local gym a guy asked what I did for a living? I went out of the Steam Room to my bag which contained my juice bottle I took a business card into the steam room and gave him my business card.  Call me astute if you like but from his body language he looked to me as though this was the first time anybody had given him a business card in the steam room.  He was probably wondering where he should put the card.
